  6.0 introduction

We receive numerous request for extensions of the FTP-PART of CoMa
which are in danger to blow up the extent of the FTP-Server. We also
feel that some functions would only be relevant for a small number
of customers. It is noticeable with the existing version that the
professional-part will sooner or later change into a mailbox
programme. Unfortunately this means as everywhere else in the world:
  Exclusive service costs exclusive money!"

What do you get for your money now in CoMa professional?

You are able to issue endless access authorisation protected by
passwords. It is possible to define a separate file for each client.
Off course it is also possible to give several clients access to one
  file.

6.1 creation of file structure for the FTP-Part in CoMa Professional

All files for your clients or friends have to be in the register
on the hard disc, which you have indicated as "Friends" in the
dialog box "Parameter FTP". Only the supervisor has access to the
rest of the hard disc outside this file with the relevant password
  of course.

You can create a sub-file in the file Friends for every client,
which is then accessible with a relevant password. The sub-file for
the client can contain again several other files.

6.2 define password and file for clients

First of all you have to include the name of the client in the
number list. Proceed as if you want to include a new fax number.
Enter the name in the main dialog box under "To". Use the following
order: Surname<Christian name, in order to integrate it in the
right alphabetical order by the surname.

Click on "Insert" and the input is stored.

Open the window "Numbers" and activate the new entrance with a
   click of the mouse.

You can call up the Pop-Up-Menu by clicking the right mouse key.
Chose "Edit". You will receive the pictured dialogbox. Here you can
add a remark to the entrance, assign it to a group, but most of all
you are able to indicate the password and the file to which this
   client has access.

Your chosen introductory which has been entered into "Salutation"
will be indicated to the caller after logg-in to the FTP-Server
   and recognition of the password.

All data send by clients will always be logged into the Upload
folder which has been defined under Parameter FTP.

An example for a possible file structure:

    DOWNLOAD

    	FRIENDS

    		SIGGI

    			LAST

   Siggi can call up
   data from these
three files NEW	but only from these files.

   				TEXT

AS YOU CAN SEE IN THIS DIAGRAMM THE THREE FILES LAST, NEW AND TEXT
ARE LOCATED IN THE FILE SIGGI. The Caller can branch out in one of
the files with the command cd ORDNERNAME. The command cd..takes him
 one file level higher.
